I have been on a sabbatical from work and writing. The sabbatical from work was necessary because I moved from the Midwest (Illinois) to the Northwest (Washington). I stopped writing temporarily so that I could leave home (again) only to return home to FaithWalk with something fresh and new to say.

Living Alone
Now that the smoke has cleared outside of Pittsburgh-Collier, PA specifically, I wanted to talk about George Sodini. He was the 48-year old man who maliciously went into a LA Fitness and started firing as many as 30 rounds in women's aerobics class that killed three women and injured nine as well as himself. So sad. I pray for the family and I hope the women who died rest in peace.
